Bulk Ordering
Everything at Cape Rug, Home & Art is made to order in our Cape Town workshop, which makes larger orders straightforward for us to take on. If you're furnishing a project or stocking a store, our bulk pricing scales with order size.
How the pricing works
Your discount is based on the order total & applies automatically at checkout.No code needed.
- Orders from R20,000 — 30% off
- Orders from R30,000 — 35% off
- Orders from R40,000 — 40% off
As your cart grows past each threshold, the higher rate applies to the whole order. All prices include VAT.
Payment
Bulk orders can be settled by EFT or card. For EFT, we take a 50% deposit before your order goes into production, with the balance due before dispatch. Choose EFT at checkout & you'll receive our banking details with a reference. Card orders are charged in full at checkout through Paygate, or you can use Payflex.
Lead times
Made-to-order lead times are around 4 weeks & extend with the size of the order. We'll confirm timing once we have your final list. If anything changes about when you'll receive your order, we will promptly inform you.
Bulk order terms
- Made-to-order: Each piece is custom-made for your order, so bulk orders can't be returned or refunded for a change of mind. This doesn't affect your rights if an item arrives damaged or defective (see below).
- Deposit: The 50% deposit (EFT payments) secures your production slot & is non-refundable, since production is booked & materials are committed to your order once it's placed.
- Damaged or defective items: Inspect your delivery on arrival & contact us straight away. We'll repair or replace anything damaged or defective, in line with our Refund Policy.
- Shipping: Calculated at checkout & delivered by our courier. If the packed order costs more to ship than was charged, we invoice the difference before dispatch. Please keep this in mind when placing your order.
